Black and white illustration of a sailboat in distress in tumultuous waves, with several sailors on board. The reverse features a handwritten letter to Madame Malesherbes, dated 21 August 1918, sent from Lézat, with a 5 centimes green stamp and a cancellation stamp from H. Le Bault.
