Black and white view of a port with several sailboats and small boats on the water, under a cloudy sky. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 17 September, addressed to Madame Lalle in Marseille, with two French stamps (20c pink and 50c blue) and a postmark from Sainte-Adresse.
