Description

Postcard illustrating the towing of the sunken submarine "Pluviose" to Calais, after its disaster on May 26, 1910. The printed text relates its raising by the tugs "L'Europe" and "Le Calaisien" and its return to port. Back: handwritten address to Madame Delcroix in Saint-Omer, with handwriting of correspondence and mention of certain foreign countries not accepting correspondence from this side.
