Description

Postcard showing the wreckage of the ship "Liberté" after its salvage on September 25, 1911 in the harbor of Toulon, causing about 400 victims. Printed text at the bottom of the front specifies the tonnage (14,868 tons) and the time of the accident (5:55 a.m.). Reverse: publisher E. La Boley, printed by Gatti, Paris, with a note that the address on the front is not accepted by all foreign countries.
