Description

View of the port side of the battleship Iéna, severely damaged after the explosion of March 12, 1907, with 200 victims. The ship is in ruins, its superstructures destroyed, and people are visible on board and on the dock. On the reverse, a handwritten letter to Monsieur Joseph Fournier in Marseille, accompanied by a red stamp and a Toulouse cancellation dated June 23, 1907.
