Postcard showing sailors washing the deck of a battleship, with a sailor standing in the center and another kneeling to clean. The reverse has a handwritten address to Madame Émilie Baud, 16 Rue du Muguet, Montpellier, a green 20-centime stamp, and a cancellation stamp from Toulon dated May 24, 1905.
