Description

Postcard depicting the French armored cruiser Le Héloïse in full navigation, with smoke rising from its chimneys and sailors visible on the deck. On the reverse, a handwritten correspondence addressed to Madame Lamaraque in Bordeaux, with a 10-centime postage stamp and a Saint-Salvador (SALIN) cancellation dated July 1, 1896. The reverse also indicates a note about the non-acceptance of the correspondence by all foreign countries on the front.
