Postcard showing the French ironclad "Magenta" at sea, with its imposing superstructure and visible cannons. The reverse bears a handwritten address to Mr. Géranffet in Marseille, a blue 5-centime stamp, and a shipping mark from Toulon (Var) dated May 15, 1905.
