Monochrome illustration of a beach scene under a stormy sky with people in the water, signed G. Maroniez at the top and bottom. The back has handwritten text dated 1893, addressed to Madame Matilde Wittman in Marseille, with a postmark and a post office stamp from Château-Gaillard (Cher) dated September 18, 1893.
