Description

Luxurious interior of a ship, showing a richly carved wooden staircase with ornate wrought-iron balustrades decorated with floral motifs. Above, a statue of a nude woman holding a cornucopia is framed by grapevine garlands. Green 5-centime stamp of the French Republic. Reverse: handwritten address to Mme Champleliant in Paris, postmark from Bar-sur-Aube dated May 10, 1912, and inscription 'Correspondance'.
