Painting of a marine scene with several sailboats and a rowboat under a cloudy sky. The reverse side features a handwritten letter dated July 17, 1929, sent from Lyon, mentioning a trip to Cyclanéros and a stop at Lac du Bourget. A French 42-centime postage stamp is affixed, with partial cancellation.
