Description

View of Batz beach with rocks, swimmers, and beach huts under a clear sky. Two green 5-centime stamps of the French Republic are affixed at the bottom left. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated August 18, 1918, addressed to Mrs. Pétin in Nogent-sur-Marne, mentioning the beauty of the beach and the presence of a child.
