Black and white view of Beachy Head lighthouse and the cliffs of Eastbourne under a cloudy sky. The back has handwritten French text addressed to 'Mademoiselle Gretheline Brochel' in Bouf-sur-Même, Seine, with a red 1 penny stamp and a postmark from Boulogne-sur-Mer dated July 31, 1904.
