View of the former abbey or priory of the Benedictines in Beaumont-en-Auge, founded in 1060 and directed by the monks of the Saint-Maur congregation, with a church with a pointed spire to the right. Reverse: French postcard stamped with 10 centimes, bearing a cancellation mark from Beaumont-en-Auge (Calvados) dated August 29, 1909, with a handwritten letter addressed to Mrs. Bruffal in Vargontaine (Seine).
