Description

Postcard showing the Gothic ruins of the abbey in Beaumont-le-Roger, with pointed arches and remnants of stone walls. On the reverse, a handwritten inscription 'Annicale pensée des jeunes époux' signed 'Jacques & J. Lorguier', addressed to 'Mme Borbaix et Camus, Subdivision du Personnel (PH), 44 rue de Rome, Paris 8e'. A 15-centime French stamp from the 'La France' series (1920-1921) with a Parisian cancellation.
