Description

Astronomical clock made of solid walnut, carved and polished, 1.80 meters tall, depicting the celestial Earth, the Moon, the zodiac signs, the seven ages of life, and the statue of Christ surrounded by the 12 apostles. Printed text on the back details the manual construction (1908–1921) and mechanisms. Signed by A. Brigaland, watchmaker from Saint-André-de-l'Eure.
