View of the statue of Jeanne-Hachette in the center of a square in Beauvais, surrounded by wrought iron, with commercial buildings such as 'Felix Potin' and 'Produits Alimentaires' in the background. The reverse has a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Alice Bellard in Courcy, with a French postage stamp from 1835 and a postmark from Beauvais dated 29 June 1835.
