View of the statue of Jeanne Hachette in the center of a square in Beauvais, surrounded by commercial buildings with signs such as 'Cycles-Autos', 'Pharmacy', 'Au Petit Canon' and 'Au Bon Marché'. The back has a handwritten address to Marie-Louise Marsollet in Rouen, a 10-centime postage stamp, and a postmark from 'Devilliers' dated August 24, 1924.
