Illustration of a monumental astronomical clock 12 meters high, built in 1868 by A.-L. Vérité, with 52 dials representing astronomical phenomena and 90,000 parts, of which the mechanism is wound only once every 100 years. Reverse: printed text describing the characteristics of the clock, address of the publisher (Lévy et Meurdes, 44, rue Lattelier, Paris), and handwritten text indicating the construction in 1868.
