Description

Postcard illustrating the astronomical clock of Beauvais, measuring 12 meters in height and featuring 52 dials representing astronomical phenomena and the times of cities around the world. The mechanism is wound only once every 100 years. Reverse: handwritten address to Madame Goullan, 8 Avenue des Marronniers, Saint-Ouen, Seine, with a French postage stamp from 1907 and cancellation mark from GAREME.
