Description

Postcard depicting the Lion of Belfort, a monumental sculpture 22 meters long and 11 meters high, work by Bartholdi. The lion is carved in the rock, with the inscription 'AUX DÉFENSEURS DE BELFORT' engraved at its feet. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated 17-11-30, addressed to a friend, mentioning memories of Belfort and personal plans.
