Postcard showing the Lion monument in Belfort, a work by Bartholdi, carved into the rock and measuring 22m in length and 11m in height, commemorating the wars of 1870-71. The reverse has correspondence addressed to Madame Chevalier in Paris, dated July 20, 1928, with a postage stamp and distribution postmark.
