Description

Postcard showing the Lion of Belfort monument, a work by Bartholdi, with an inscription indicating its dimensions and the period 1870-71. On the reverse, handwritten script addresses the card to Monsieur P. Léger in Silly, with a note of the date April 10, 1902. A French postmark from 1902 is affixed at the top left.
