View of a street in Berck-Plage with wooden buildings, a hotel-pension 'Jean Pierre' and a brasserie 'Brasserie Française'. Printed text indicates arrival at the Esplanade via the Rue de la Mer. Reverse: handwritten message addressed to Madame Lamare, mentioning departure for Paris and a complimentary description of the location, along with the sender's address in Caumont. 40-centime postage stamp and Berck-Plage postmark dated April 23, 1923.
