Animated view of Berck-Plage beach at high tide, with swimmers in the water and a sailboat in the foreground. At the bottom, an inscription indicates the presence of a bookstore-paper shop Carnot on rue Carnot. The reverse side features a handwritten letter addressed to an uncle Charles in Rœux, dated December 28, 1912, with a 15-centime French postage stamp and a postmark from Berck-Plage (Pas-de-Calais).
