Description

Postcard depicting the dunes of Berck-Plage, described as a curiosity due to the winds and the nature of the sand, with mention of the first trials of glider flight without engine. The back has handwritten correspondence addressed to Mr. Sandtner in Aubervilliers, with a 15-centime postage stamp and a postmark from Berck-Plage dated 13 July 1913.
