View of the Federal Palace in Bern, with the Helvetiaplatz in the foreground and a moving tram. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated April 28, 1917, addressed to Mr. Freidet in Noyelles-sur-Mer (Seine), with a Swiss 10-centime stamp and a postmark from Bern.
