Description

View of the Notre-Dame church in Besançon, showing its façade and tower, with inscription indicating that the portal and tower were built around 1525 by Antoine de Montecut, and that the spire of the bell tower was removed by a hurricane in 1845. The reverse has a handwritten correspondence dated October 3, 1917, addressed to Paul Machin in Besançon, rue Gustave Courbet, and mentions a visit to Chaponais and Dulleroy.
