Description

View of the Palace of Justice in Besançon, showing its Renaissance façade dating from 1582-1585 and the modern wings completed in 1893, according to the plans of architect Sambin. The reverse has a 10-centime French Republic postage stamp, canceled in Chaprais on August 30, 1918, and a handwritten address to a 'Mademoiselle' in Paris, with a message 'Bons baisers'.
