View of Notre-Dame Church in Besançon-les-Bains, with its carved portal and cylindrical tower, on a pebbled path. The reverse has a handwritten letter dated 1950, addressed to 'My dear Colette', mentioning a visit by the publisher Bromure Péquanci and a request for postal service. The stamp and cancellation are visible in the bottom right corner.
