Description

Black and white view of a winding path between rocky cliffs, with a round stone tower at the top of a hill, surrounded by dense vegetation. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated October 2, 1938, addressed to a Madame in Besançon, expressing regret at her departure and mentioning La Porte Taitée. The postmark and cancellation are visible.
