View of a Renaissance palace in Besançon-les-Bains, with a statue of Granvelle at the center of a paved patio. The printed text identifies the building as a historical monument. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated June 25, 1932, sent from Fontainebleau, mentions an inspection of equipment and a stay in Besançon. The publisher is 'Les Éditions C. L. B.' with a stamp and cancellation.
