Description

Illustrated postcard depicting the astronomical clock of Besançon, designed by Cardinal Mathieu and reorganized in 1900 by Florian Goudey, with a mechanism of 30,000 parts and 70 dials. The front shows three views of the clock adorned with statues and complex architectural details. The back indicates that the model is deposited and reproduced by Phototypie M. Lescuver, Lyon.
