Detailed illustration of the astronomical clock of St-Jean in Besançon, commissioned by Cardinal Mathieu and executed by M. Florian Goudey. The clock, 5m80 high, contains 30,000 mechanical parts and 72 dials. The reverse is blank, with the typical address and correspondence areas of a postcard.
