Description

Illustration of the astronomical clock of Besançon, designed in 1900 by A.-L. VÉRITÉ, showing left and right side views. The text states that it is the most complete and wonderful piece of modern mechanics, with 122 indications, 70 dials, and 30,000 mechanical parts. The reverse mentions the printing house M. Lescuyer in Lyon and a note prohibiting reproduction.
