Description

Colorized view of a lush canyon with a winding watercourse between rocky cliffs covered in moss and dense vegetation. On the reverse, handwritten inscription indicates the location is in northern Wales and that it is a very picturesque spot. The publisher is Peacock Autocochom (Hagel), series 'Peacock'. The address is intended for Mademoiselle In. Placet, 48 Rue Royale, Versailles, France. Red 1 penny stamp and cancellation mark 'SEINE-ET-OISE' dated February 29, 1904.
