Description

Black and white view of the Cians Gorges, with a narrow path between rocky cliffs and a small waterfall. On the back, a handwritten letter dated 'Sam di soir' (Saturday evening) addressed to 'Chère Marie', mentioning an imminent departure from the hospital and the sending of a cut-out article from a Nice newspaper. The stamp and postmark are visible at the bottom right.
