View of La Grande Plage in Biarritz, lively with a crowd of swimmers and strollers at the beginning of the 20th century. In the background, the lighthouse and a large building are visible. The reverse has a handwritten address to 'Maurice and Madame Charles-Martin, Craoq, Creuse', a 40-centime postage stamp, and a cancellation from Biarritz dated 19 June 1931.
