Description

Black and white view of a violent storm at Rocher de la Vierge in Biarritz, with crashing waves and a metal bridge connecting the cliff to the rocky structure. On the reverse, the publisher is identified as 'CAP', the printed text reads 'The Storm at Rocher de la Vierge', and the recipient's address is to Liège (Belgium). Two French stamps (2c green and 3c pink) are affixed, canceled with a circular postmark from Biarritz dated 28 September 1930.
