Black and white view of the « Basta », a building on stilts in the middle of a rocky island at high tide, with a path bordered by railings leading to the entrance. The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to M. Soule Castex in Paris, with a 5-centime postmark and a Biarritz cancellation.
