Description

Pictoresque view of the Rocher du Basta in Biarritz, with a path lined with railings leading to a small promenade on the rocky cliff. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated Thursday, February 5, 1914, addressed to Monsieur Maurice Fauphau in Paris, describing the beauty of the beach and the family's expectations. Postmark of 10 centimes of the French Republic, canceled in Brest.
