View of the Rock of the Virgin in Biarritz, with a metal bridge connecting the cliff to the rock, under a cloudy sky and waves splashing the rocks. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Robert Taccors in Fourès, dated 17 March 1917, with a violet 40-centime stamp and a postmark from Biarritz.
