Black and white view of a lush valley with a stream in the center, bordered by terraced fields and wooded hills. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated September 16, 1936, addressed to 'Bernard Baille', mentioning memories of the region and place names such as 'Tours', 'Sarlat', 'Sainte-Foy-la-Grande'. A postmark is affixed at the top right.
