Panoramic view of the village of Bitsch in Lorraine, with the castle dominating a wooded hill and tiled roofs. At the bottom, a coat of arms with a serpent surrounding a diamond. The reverse indicates the publisher 'Verlag von Ludwig Ehrsam, Bitsch i. Lothr.' and an address to Pfalzbourg, with a 5 pfennigs stamp and a postmark from Bitingen (Lorraine) dated 31 December 1937.
