Description

Black and white view of a coastal landscape with steep cliffs framing a bay, under a cloudy sky. The printed text at the bottom reads 'BLACKGANG CHINE, ISLE OF WIGHT'. On the reverse, handwritten French text mentions arrival on the Isle of Wight and the beauty of the location, dated July 5, 1955, with a 2 shillings stamp of Queen Elizabeth II and a Cowes postmark.
