View of the Blois Castle with printed text recalling historical events: birth of Valentine of Milan in 1408, arrest of Joan of Arc in 1414, deaths of Anne of Brittany in 1576, assassination of the Duke of Guise in 1588, and construction by Francis I (1516-1523). Reverse: postcard sent from Vienna (10/03/1942) to Périgueux, with a 35c green stamp and handwritten script.
