Illustrated New Year card showing two children in winter clothing piloting a biplane in the middle of a snowstorm. Printed text at the bottom of the front says 'Bonne année'. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Mr. O. Maugheffils in Saint-Maurice, dated 1916, expresses the hope that the recipient and his family are well, and mentions a planned trip for the following day. The publisher 'J. Kränzle, Vienna' is signed at the bottom right of the front.
