Sepia portrait of a smiling young woman wearing a fur coat and a pearl necklace, with the inscription 'Happy New Year' at the top left. On the reverse, a postcard sent to Madame Th. Petit in Béaurognon, with a handwritten New Year's message and a signature from Marie Léon. The publisher 'Bilouet' and the serial number '7210' are visible at the bottom right of the front.
