Panoramic view of the Rhine in Boppard, with a smoking steamboat in the center and buildings along the banks. The name 'BOPPARD' is printed at the bottom. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated April 29, 1919, addressed to 'Monsieur et Madame de Vaux', mentioning family news and a 'small house' in Boppard. A circular postmark is affixed at the top left.
