Description

View of the banks of the Garonne in Bordeaux with a path lined with trees and a woman in a long dress. Two green 5-centime stamps of the French Republic are affixed, canceled with a circular postmark from Girondes. The reverse side features handwritten correspondence addressed to 'M. Léon Berruet' in Bordeaux, with a postmark from 'Bordeaux' and a note at the top: 'Correspondence on the front is not accepted by all foreign countries'.
